(Brian) Yep, I made that drop. . .
(Dave) You must have an image in digital form, e.g., a scanned print or a photo taken with digital camera saved to a drive on your PC, typically in .jpg format. In the "Post Reply" window, there is a field "Attach file" - - click the "Browse" button and locate the image on your PC. That's all there is to it. Remember to optimize the file to reduce the size. If you have other questions post a message.
Here's another disposable camera photo, a shot taken during a nice south swell June 2000. That's me setting up for a sweet wall. Sure could use some of that now, this summer has been CRAP so far.
Killer pic ! As I look at it I imagine what the rest of the ride might have looked like.
You're makin' it look so easy.
Glad to see you sharin' those epic Island images with us once again.

Hey Doug, I just *happen* to have more shots from that very wave. My surfbud Neal was quite far away when I first took off, and he was able to wind the disposable fast enough to take four shots before I went past him. That wave was a freight train so you might imagine how far I traveled in the time it takes to shoot four shots of the same wave with a disposable camera.

Bud! Can you tell us what type/model camera you're using for that last post? The picture resolution is amazing...

Howzit OBSG, all of my digi pics are taken with a Fuji FinePix 4700zoom. That shot was taken at 1280x960 resolution (medium setting). Resized 50% to 640x480, slightly sharpened and slightly brightened using PaintShopPro 5.5 (then resized again by 75% to comply with TheGlide file size restrictions).

A few digi pics after session today
Sets had solid 12+' faces where we were at http://www.wavelust.com/bsl/071801x.jpg
Usually happens only occasionally during the winter, but the surf actually washed over the
highway http://www.wavelust.com/bsl/071801w.jpg Had a full crew today- me, MM, Rich, FE, and Sponge. Was less than ideal but no one else out the whole time Sponge's last wave
http://www.wavelust.com/bsl/071801n.jpg My reef rash looked really bad when I first got out of the water bleeding all over, but cleaned up ok http://www.wavelust.com/bsl/071801z.jpg
http://www.wavelust.com/bsl/071801y.jpg No board damage... yaay!
Incredable work! Wonderful fun! Serious stoke!![]()

Hi Bud,
That last picture of your's shows my jump off rock in the bottom
right hand corner....(if it's where I think it is?)
Did you see that the're building a big rock wall along side the
road?! Guess we're going to have to do illegal runs across the
field now?
More of Hawaii keeps getting taken away...Auwe...
Aloha Claudia
Hey Claudia,
On the other hand, with the explosion of people clogging most lineups, something that makes a break a little less visible and little more difficult to get to for the average lazy surfer... could end up being a plus for those willing to go the "extra mile."
Bud
I hear you Bud..just worried that the resort seems to think that
their boundries now run to the water line...
I know some of the guys who work for security and it's going to
change things.
Sorry...enough whining...Bud I hope you got some photo's of this
last southswell!!
No worries Claudia... we all know your heart is in the right place. Btw, have you figured out who I am yet? Back in the late '70's- early to mid '80's My brother Rich and I were fixtures at Makaha. Mutual friends from those days would inlcude Rell, Dismuke, Elliot, Bowers and of course the whole gang at Makaha. You probably heard of Willie Vanwinkle's death recently, I was a good friend of his back them days. I ran into to you about a year or so ago, messing around small windslop day at Whiteplains, I think Allen ("wrench") P. was there too.
Another shot from this past south swell
Nice shot Bud!!
Next time you run into me please introduce yourself??
(I have to refresh this old decrepit mind of mine)
Yes I remember Willie...I use to loan him my boards to ride when
he was this cute ehu-haired kid.....sigh..life is strange sometimes.
Here's a pic of SS #11 about mid day, 9-10-01. It got better toward evening hours...but funny thing is it started to cloud up, so I didn't get anymore pics. This wave was kinda between sets. Didn't wanna hang in the boat to take anymore pics....had to get on it, the guy you see in the picture was the only one out....enjoy!

PS~I need to get a camera with a good telephoto, but these will have to do for now.
