"sunset" - creator (I turned the stereo off and just drove the last few miles enjoying the sunset and silence)
I do that often. Stoke has a tune of it's own.

I've been listening to Talking Heads all afternoon - what a trippy band that was!

Blues And Classic Rock And Roll

    LOUD!
I like to pull out old or obscure stuff that seems appropriate at the time. For example, if I'm hookin' up with buddies for a full-on shread fest it might require Thin Lizzy The Boys Are Back In Town. If it's a unbelievably bichin hot day, perhaps a little Janis Joplin Summertime. Winter dawn patrol ... Foriener Cold As Ice. The blues works too but it's more about the beat than the lirics. Try Melvin Taylor Floodin' In California or Snooky Pryor Come On Down To My House. If that fails you can always rely on Dick Dale.

What song gets you pumped up??

Try any song by Dick Dale. He is the KING OF SURF Guitar.
Miserlou is the Theme song from Pulp Fiction.

Although I haven't heard Linkin Park's Cd, I saw them do that song with Jay Z, as well as a live concert on MTV, and I thought they were awesome!

Red, Trinity is actually an area of NewPort Richey. We are on the Gulf coast just north of Clearwater. If you like rockabilly try some Junior Brown or Los Straightjackets.

I got their (Los Strightjackets) CD Super Sonic guitars in three D by mistake a while back Damn good band. Lately I've been listening to Dropkick Murprys quiite a bit. Have'nt listen to punk much since the late Eighties. Somthing about baggpipes and a punk band some how it works. Got Rocky Road to Dublin on right now.

i love listening to music, it is the thing (besides the ocean) that i can not live without! if i had a choice though i would pick the waves over the tunes! anyways The Beach Boys get me pumped pretty good- in the old school way. and yes it is stupid but i love Jesse McCartney! Also when i am in the right mood i really like GREENDAY and YELLOWCARD! anywho just what i like to listen to.

Today I did a dawn patrol at a pretty remote spot... there was a rave going on in the area. It was pretty cool to have some techno blazing while I waited in between waves, if there wasn't music I would've been hearing the Jaws theme because I was the only surfer around for miles (I saw a small fin break the surface 10 feet away from me midway through my sesh)... PS it was one of my best ever sessions, waves were a frame wedges over a shallow reef, perfect for bodyboarding. And like I said, no one but me to enjoy them.

i love a bit of pico particularly his harsher songs he's a bit underground but feature in 'the search' and 'proland'
    http://www.picomusic.net/

latley ive been reliving my youth with a bit of 'ska' finding "the beat" and "bad manners" great upbeat music for getting the energy going.

if it's really pumping tool !!!
