Sean Davey

I started shooting pictures when I was just 15 years old, with an old Kodak Instamatic 126 camera. I very quickly developed a passion for photography and it has pretty much ruled or had some effect on just about every aspect of my lifestyle, today.
I'd typically see a strikingly different image in a magazine and would sit there and work out how the photographer had created that image and then remember that technique somewhere later on. My work is printed in several countries around the world, these days on an extremely regular basis and I still manage to do 3 or 4 surf trips abroad, each year.
I'm still shooting with a strong passion for the work. As long as that remains, I'll keep doing it.

Sean Davey is a successfull Australian surf photographer who now lives in Hawaii. The guy has style and taste, not least when he's behind the lens. Sean's book 'Oceans' pays homage to the ocean itself. 'Oceans' is a clean emotive portrayal of the surfer's environment in it's multiplicity of moods. Excellent reproduction, high quality printing and beautifull images.
